Truancy Video

The following video was created by the Tow Youth Justice Institute in collaboration with the Truancy subgroup of the Juvenile Justice Policy and Oversight Committee (JJPOC) and with CYSA regarding Truancy and referral to a YSB and is available in five different languages. The video can be used by any YSB, any community provider or school working with youth (or anyone else interested or who works with parents). It is meant to introduce parents to what a YSB can do for children who may be struggling with attendance and also explains what truancy is and why attendance is important.
