The 2026 Connecticut Legislative Session will officially open on February 4, 2026, and CYSA will once again be a strong voice at the Capitol on behalf of Youth Service Bureaus across the state. As lawmakers consider policies that impact prevention, diversion, mental health, and community-based supports, CYSA will continue to advocate for the resources and recognition YSBs need to serve youth and families effectively.
Throughout the session, we will provide updates and calls to action to ensure YSB leaders, partners, and stakeholders stay informed and engaged. Our goal remains clear: to protect and strengthen the statewide network of YSBs so every community has access to the supports that help young people thrive.
